Custom Reference Standards

Horizon Dx offers a custom reference standard development service. Customers may choose to develop reference material using cell lines selected from Horizon's catalogue (PDF Download) of over 350 genetically defined X-MAN cell lines. Alternatively customers can transfer their own cell line or benefit from Horizon’s partnership with ATCC by selecting cell lines from the ATCC collection.

This service enables customers to choose virtually all specifications of the reference material to suit their unique scientific end points:

• Allelic ratio of the mutation versus wild type (e.g. 50%, 25%, 20%, 10%, 5%)
• Fixation time
• DNA output
• DNA concentration

Available formats include:

• Genomic DNA (gDNA)
• Fixed formalin, paraffin embedded (FFPE) cell line sections
• Fixed formalin, paraffin embedded (FFPE) xenographs
• Protein lysates
